The 2010 edition of the New Mexico Mountain Bike Championships saw record attendance. We had 263 race registration from over 180 racers (see results). Thanks to everyone that came to race, and we hope you enjoyed the new courses, food and beer. We have listen to your feedback, and will incorporate many of the suggestions into next year’s race.

This past Sunday Damian Calvert won the Santa Fe hill climb for the 6th year in a row. This short, but brutal race starts in Santa Fe, and climbs all the way to the Santa Fe ski area. The course is a 14.7 mile climb, with approximately 3300ft of climbing.
The finish came down to an exciting sprint, as this video clip shows:
