Two Races:

Saturday August 7  – 1pm: The New Mexico Sports Authority Short Track XC Championships
Sunday August 8  – 9am: The New Mexico Orthopedic Associates XC Championships

Cost

(includes $5 donation to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life)

XC: $40
Short Track $40
Omnium $60 (both races)

Registration:

Online registration through Thursday, August 5. Register at: New Mexico Sports Online
Offline registration August 6-8 (at packet pick-up AND days of event) available with a $20 late fee.

Free T-shirts to the first 100 registered.  Sizes guaranteed for all signed up before July 27.  After that, we’ll do the best we can.

Packet pick-up

At Sport Systems on Friday, August 6 at 10am – 5pm

Points and Awards:

Both races count toward the New Mexico Off-Road Series (NMORS)
The XC race is a qualifiers for 2011 Nationals
Prizes awarded to top three omnium finishers in each category

Camping:

Overnight camping is permitted on Saturday.

The Short Track Race will be by duration:
Pro/1 – 25mins
Cat 2 – 20 mins
Cat 3 – 20 mins

Race Directions:

From Tijeras (located 7 miles east of ABQ on I-40 or south from
Santa FE on NM 14 thru Madrid)
-South on NM 337 from Tijeras for 5.1 miles to Juan Tomas Rd
-Turn left (east) on Juan Tomas Rd (Forest Rd 242)
and continue 0.6 miles to Forest Rd 252 (a gravel road to your left)
-Turn left (north) on FR 252 for and continue 1.5 miles to the campground
